1.  The National City campus, located in National City, California, also is an extension of Southwestern College. Southwestern College needed to provide connectivity back to the main campus to provide network access to both faculty and students over a T-1 connection. Security was accomplished by configuring Virtual LANs for the faculty and student.

2.  In addition to access to the main campus the project needed to provide Internet access to National City campus for faculty, students, and the newly constructed computer labs. The Southwestern College, National City Project is only one of the additions to the existing High Speed ATM network under Information Technology Solutions cognizance.

3.  The design included new Intra-building enhanced Cat 5 structured horizontal cabling supporting 75 data (43 student and 32 faculty) and 38 voice locations, Faculty and Student Servers, Hubs, Routers, CSU/DSUs, and a Centralized Network Management system was installed.

4.  Information Technology Solutions provided the consultation, engineered the design, provided bid the process services, and provided project management for the project.
