2.  Southwestern College desire was to provide connectivity back to the main campus to provide network access to both faculty and students over a T-1 WAN connection. In addition to access to the main campus, the project needed to provide Internet access to the San Ysidro campus for faculty, students, and the newly constructed computer labs along with network security. Security was accomplished by configuring network components and the installation of Virtual LANs for the faculty and student.

3.  The design included new Intra-building enhanced Cat 5 structured horizontal cabling supporting 190 data and 14 voice locations, Faculty and Student Servers, Hubs, Routers, CSU/DSUs, and a Centralized Network Management system was installed.

4.  Information Technology Solutions provided the consultation, engineered the design, provided bid the process services, and provided project management for the project.
